Paris-Lamar County Health District

As a public health department, most services are primarily preventive medical treatment. Services provided include pre-natal care, family planning, immunizations, care of non-emergency medical problems, screening and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, Women, Infant and Children (WIC) nutrition program and sanitary inspections. Fees are determined by the local health board. Services of the Paris-Lamar County Health District are provided regardless of ability to pay, however, payment is expected when services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. Programs are available for low income families for reduced fees or no fees. Applicants qualify on an individual basis for one year. Applications must be renewed annually. Applications are available at the office or on the website. Patients with Medicaid or other health insurance are also accepted. Call for more information.
